BPF Youth leader fined for solidarity with political prisoners
Andrei Krechka was fined 700.000 rubles for an action on October square on the Solidarity Day.
The court of the Leninski district of Minsk sentenced the head of the BPF Youth for participating in an action of solidarity on March 16.
As Radio Svaboda reports, judge Nadzeja Navitskaya fined the guy 20 basic units. Andrei Krechka was detained on April 2. He was to stand trial on the same day, but he asked to delay it as he wanted to find a lawyer.
On March 16, some democratic activists came to October square in Minsk protesting against the trial over Vaukavysk entrepreneurs Mikalai Autukhovich and Uladzimir Asipenka.
The case of Autukhovich and Asipenka is being heard now in the Supreme Court of Belarus.
